ArDrive Password

ArDrive requires a password for any Private Drives that you create.

Your ArDrive password serves as additional security during your session. Encrypting your wallet at rest and as also serving as entropy for encrypting Private Drives.  This password is never uploaded or stored off your device, ensuring nobody else can access your data, except for you and those who you share it with.

This password cannot be reset or changed if you make a Private Drive during your session. Make sure to write it down & keep it in a secure location since there is no recovery mechanism.  If this password is lost, you will not be able to decrypt your Private Drive data!

Accounts that don't create private Drives can use different passwords.
